Your Tasks & Responsibilities
  • Setup, validation and evaluation of simulation models of structural components
  • Execution of linear/non-linear static as well as dynamic FEM calculations
  • Preparation of strength verifications for metallic and fiber composite structures
  • Preparation of the calculation documentation up to the approval report
Your profile
  • Completed studies in the fields of aerospace, automotive engineering, mechanical engineering, civil engineering or similar
  • First professional experience in FEM calculation an advantage. User knowledge desirable in CAE tools such as: Nastran, Patran, ANSA, Hyperworks, Hypermesh , ABAQUS, Ansys.
  • Experience in numerical simulation
  • Good German and English language skills, both written and spoken

Aerospace designer

Your Tasks & Responsibilities
  • Creation of 3D construction documents
  • Create 2D derivations
  • Release of construction documents in VPM
  • Check data modules in CATIA and correct if necessary
  • Development and design of individual parts and assemblies
  • Design of complex fiber composite parts as well as milled and sheet metal formed parts
  • Conceptualization and investigation of design principles taking into account manufacturing and cost aspects within the framework of customer specifications and approval regulations
  • Selection of suitable materials and material combinations
  • Load-oriented component optimization in cooperation with the calculation department
Qualification
  • Completed studies in the fields of aerospace, automotive engineering, mechanical engineering or comparable
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in the aviation industry
  • Strong expertise in design methodology and development of metallic and fiber composite structural components.
  • Good German and English language skills, both written and spoken

Software Developer Aerospace

Your Tasks & Responsibilities
  • Creating software architectures and modules
  • Define system requirements based on operational data and customer input
  • Developing simulation models for aircraft and their equipment
  • Implement software components
  • Design and perform tests
  • Writing software documentation
Your profile
  • Completed studies in the fields of computer science (IT/software engineering, software engineering, computer science), electrical engineering or aerospace engineering
  • Professional experience in software development, design or testing is desirable
  • Sound knowledge of processes, methods and tools for software development
  • Advanced programming skills in: C/C++, Python and/or, Matlab
  • Experience in the following is advantageous: SysML/UML architecture, CI/CD or DevOps
  • Good German and English language skills, both written and spoken

Aerospace Engineer for Programming

  • Methods and tool development, including interaction with existing simulation software packages
  • Support in setting up new tool environments
  • Creative solution finding for the automation of technical verification procedures/processes

Your profile
  • Master’s degree in engineering, aerospace, mechanical engineering or comparable qualification.
  • Experience in structural mechanics in the aerospace sector
  • Experience in programming/scripting (e.g. with Python, C++, VBA or Matlab)
  • Very good knowledge of MS-Office
  • Experience with FEM (Nastran/Patran, ANSA, Hyperworks, Hypermesh , ABAQUS, Ansys), optimally with non-linear calculations.
  • High level of apprehension regarding previously unfamiliar tasks
  • Motivation to familiarize yourself with new complex topics
  • Good German and English language skills, both written and spoken
